I did my studies at the University of Dschang, Cameroon, and my PhD at the Maine University in France since 2012. I have been the conservator of Waza and Benoue national parks between 2000 and 2012. After that I have been appointed as Regional delegate for west and north west region of Cameroon wich contain four protected areas without lions. Through this work I started to become involved in lion conservation since 1999 just after the end of my study by assuring sensus in Waza national park in the far north region of cameroon. Currently, I am the chairman of the ROCAL (Réseau Ouest et Centre Africain pour la Conservation du Lion).
