I started felid research in Peninsular Malaysia on Tiger-Human Conflict resolution with WWF-Malaysia. Currently I am affiliated with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, my research is focused in Borneo on conservation biology - mostly related to the Sunda clouded leopard, Bornean bay cat and flat-headed cat. Felid research and conservation in Borneo should be focused, synergized and concerned with bringing innovative strategies to the attention of policy makers and the public as part of an effort to prioritize the need for informed decision. As such, we are consistently engaged in research aiming to understanding the conservation needs of the Bornean felid species.
