I have been working in the Wildlife Bureau in DoE as a wildlife expert since 2005. My first experience of conservation and investigation of cat species goes back to 2006 after attending the project of Asiatic cheetah's prey census in Kavir National Park. But officially I have been in charge of cat projects in wildlife office since 2011. I was a coordinator for development of the Roadmap for Cat Conservation in Iran as well as for the publication of Iran's Cat-News Special Issue. I have been engaged in leopard conservation programs in Caucasus Ecoregion from 2011 and Ecoregional Conservation plan for the Caucasus 2020 Edition. I have PhD degree in Biodiversity Field from Science and Research Branch Islamic Azad University in Tehran (2019). For my PhD thesis I worked on wildcat (Felis lybica) genetics. I’m also involved in different studies on small Wild Cats.
