I am a teacher in Zoology at the School of Biological Sciences and Technology, Beijing Forestry University. My research topics of wild cats are mainly on (1) the field ecology of Eurasian lynx and in situ conservation based at Saihanwula national nature reserve in Inner Mongolia, including the behavioral relationship of predator and prey through camera trapping, with the roe deer, red deer, Chinese goral and hare as the prey base, and (2) leopard cat population genetics, feeding adaptations and gut microbiomes to fragmented habitat by non-invasive sampling of fecal remains in Beijing region.
