I have been working with Neotropical wildcat’s ecology and conservation since 2005. In 2017, I earned my PhD in Zoology at PUCRS-Brazil. My interests are especially the effects of human disturbances on wildcat’s populations in Brazilian Pampa and meridional Atlantic forest using approaches such as population density, activity patterns, occupancy models, dietary, species distribution modelling, home range. I’m a research collaborator of Zoology Department at UFRGS, Brazil; member of the NGOs Instituto Pro-Carnivoros and Curicaca; and general coordinator of multi-national Geoffroy’s Cat Working Group (GCWG). In conservation, I have been developing conservation planning, educational programs, and working on conflict mitigation.
