I am interested in ecology and conservation of endangered mammals of the high Andes of Bolivia, and in 1998 I started to work with the Andean cat; less than 4 presence records of this species were available for my country. Since then, I have contributed importantly to Andean cat knowledge and its conservation, and that of the sympatric pampas cat, by carrying out research, educative and training activities Since 1999 I am a co-founder and member of the Andean Cat Alliance (AGA), a multinational network of people that work for the Andean cat conservation and its habitat; currently I work as an Administrative coordinator of the Andean Cat Alliance.
