Three main categories of maps are distinguished:
 - Species distribution maps
 - Basic maps (political, land use, vegetation)
 - Thematic maps (protected areas, biodiversity, development/infrastructure projects)

Other categories or subcategories can be established at any time if required.

The maps open in an own window, some of them can be zoomed in and all can be closed by klicking the respective button.
