Iberian Lynx Conservation Compendium Partnership |
To save the Critically Endangered Iberian lynx from extinction, a common effort is needed among all government organizations, non-governmental organizations and individuals that are involved in the conservation of this cat species on regional, national and international levels. Each institution must work for the mutual goal of saving the Iberian lynx by playing its particular role in these efforts. A first step towards a successful co-operation is to share knowledge, and to provide this information to other organisations, the media, and the public. The Iberian Lynx Conservation Compendium is a web-based collection of concepts, scientific papers, reports, general information and news relevant to the conservation of the Iberian lynx. This website is sustained by the following institutions, who strongly believe that the Iberian lynx can still be saved, if we all work together and share information regarding our activity, failure, and success. Everyone who wants to help save the Iberian lynx through raising awareness is invited to use the information and documents provided in the Iberian Lynx Conservation Compendium. Please make sure to cite the information and original sources correctly! Persons and institutions who want to provide information and join the network of the partners listed below are welcome to join the Partnership and should contact the editors of the Iberian Lynx Conservation Compendium (m.vonarx@kora.ch [mail to] - contact details see impressum). For specific information on projects, programmes or institutions please contact the partners listed below. The partners' websites can be found in the contacts section (either under "institutions" or "websites")
