Scientific and health adviser, working for the Wildlife Conservation Society since 2006 in west and central Asia, based in France. Main interests concern conservation and include project’s planning, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, exploratory surveys, health research at the human animal interface, wildlife anesthesia and forensics. Currently developing an integrated model of snow leopard conservation in Wakhan, Afghanistan. Provides scientific and technical expertise to the Asiatic cheetah conservation in Iran. Develops and delivers training and expertise in wildlife health across Asia. Scientific knowledge on small carnivores in western Asia includes the sand cat, wild cat, jungle cat and Pallas’ cat
