Cat SG Members Russia

I am senior researcher of the A.N. Severtsov Institute of ecology and evolution Russian academy of sciences (IEE RAS), working here from the 2007 till now. I’m involved in the Projects are focused on the investigations of big cats (Persian Leopard and Amur tiger mainly). Work includes investigations focused on the development of methods of training animals for the reintroduction, features of the environment (infrastructure, staff, facilities, methods, monitoring systems etc) is needed for the reintroduction, habitat estimation before reintroduction, prey base estimation, pathogens analysis in the range, ontogenesis of cubs and their behavior, monitoring of reintroduced animals, monitoring of the population under recovering. Institute works everywhere on the territory of Russian Federation inhabited with Big cats. Work is connected with NGOs and Governmental structures (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment).
