Amy Dickman
WildCRU
Member since 2001.
I am the joint CEO of Lion Landscapes, which works in Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia to improve human-carnivore coexistence, research carnivore ecology and develop effective conservation initiatives. We focus on stopping the loss of large carnivores, reducing the cost they impose on local people, and unlocking the value of conservation. We are also strongly focused on building conservation skills and leadership, especially amongst African conservationists. I am also the Director of Oxford University’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), which helps inform conservation strategies for multiple wild species, and am Chair of the Board for the Arabian Leopard Fund.
