Philip Riordan
Marwell Wildlife
Member since 2013.
I have worked on wild felids for over 30 years, focusing on snow leopards since 2007. Much of my work has been in China and more recently Kazakhstan, but I have also continued efforts to develop greater transboundary cooperation for conservation. As Head of Conservation at Marwell Wildlife, I am also engaged with conservation of felids in Africa and more widely throughout Asia. I have research interests in landscape ecology, wildlife epidemiology and human-wildlife interactions. Working with IPBES and other intergovernmental organisations, I also assist government decision making and policy development to deliver timely and effective conservation and research.
