Valeria Boron
WWF-UK
I have over ten-years experience working on jaguar and wider felid science and conservation across multiple countries such as Colombia, Brazil, Peru and Bolivia. My PhD, a partnership between DICE, University of Kent, and Panthera, and my research have largely focused on jaguar and Neotropical felid ecology, threats, and implications for conservation and management. I have worked for WWF as Regional Manager, Panthera as Science Coordinator South America, and since June 2022 I am Senior Programme Advisor Latin America and Jaguar Lead in WWF-UK, focusing on the largest jaguar stronghold, the Amazon, and continuing to advance jaguar science.
