I have been involved in the conservation biology of small wild cats in Chile since 2003. I have coordinated and conducted research projects on the Andean cat, the Pampas cat and the Guigna in different geographic regions: from the dry altiplano in northern Chile to the rainy temperate forests in southern Chile. I am interested in population genetics, evolution and conservation biology of wild felids.
