Guyra Paraguay - CONACYT

I am the Co-Principal Investigator for Programa Yaguareté of the conservation NGO Guyra Paraguay, a researcher in the Paraguayan national scientific counsel (CONACYT), and a member of the Paraguayan Scientific Society. My research interests focus upon understanding the effects of land use and other anthropogenic factors on jaguar and puma populations and movements, and the trophic implications for their prey species and sympatric carnivores, in the Gran Chaco, Atlantic Forest, and Pantanal. Moreover, I am particularly dedicated to applying my research to develop evidence-based applications for promoting co-existence among people and large carnivores in southern South America.
