Member since 1998.
Since 1996, I have been working on carnivore ecology and conservation biology in Argentina, but presently I am primarily focused on understanding and mitigating human-carnivore conflicts. I have long term projects on the puma, Geoffroy’s cat, Pampas cat, and Andean cat, but I have also worked on the guigna and other little-known carnivores. I authored/co-authored 86 papers in refereed scientific journals and 10 books/book chapters. I co-founded the Andean Cat Alliance (AGA) and I am currently leading a cross-border project for local community engagement in the conservation of Andean cats in Argentina, Peru and Chile.
