Dale Miquelle
WCS
I was born and raised near Boston, Masschusetts, USA, and received a B.S.degree from Yale University, a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. from the University of Idaho. I spent a year working on the Smithsonian Tiger Ecology Project in Chitwan National Park, Nepal, and worked for 6 years studying wildlife in Alaska before joining the Hornocker Wildlife Institute’s Siberian Tiger Project. Now the country coordinator for the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Russia Program, I coordinate WCS research and conservation actions to protect large carnivores and the ecosystems upon which they depend in Northeast Asia.
