I am a Certified Wildlife Biologist with over 23 years of professional research and management experience involving endangered cat species. I began my research career studying ocelots in southern Texas and northeastern Mexico for the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute. I have worked with the Florida panther in various capacities (State, Federal, and NGO) since 1998. I received my B.S. from Texas A&M University and my M.S. from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I am currently the Florida Panther Coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
