With extensive experience in wild cat conservation across Asia, Africa, and the Americas, I developed Panthera’s Small Cats Program, focusing on 15 small cat species through science- based strategies, partnerships, and direct conservation action. My work has included leading conservation frameworks for tigers, clouded leopards, fishing cats, and other small cats. Additionally, I co-led the mainland clouded leopard IUCN Red List assessment and will lead the flat-headed cat assessment. My commitment extends to mentoring Small Cat Action Fund grantees and early-career biologists, and I am enthusiastic about bringing my expertise to support the IUCN Cat Specialist Group’s mission.
