I am an ecologist who has been working on the human leopard interactions for more than a decade. I have a Master’s degree from University of Pondicherry and Iowa in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I am senior staff with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) - India program, Bangalore. I am recipient of the Kaplan Graduate award and have been extensively supported by grants from the Rufford Foundation U.K and the Royal Norwegian Embassy to India. My work has been to use the research findings to make informed management decisions. I have also contributed to policy documents related to human leopard conflict management at the state and national level.
