As the Director of the Lion Recovery Fund, my role involves identifying the best opportunities for investing in the conservation of lions. The LRF is an initiative of the Wildlife Conservation Network, a US-based NGO. I am a conservation biologist, trained at the University of Oxford and the Mammal Research Institute, University of Pretoria. I am a Zimbabwean citizen, based in Harare, but travelling widely through the savannah regions of Africa during the course of my work.
