I completed my Ph.D. in 2013 where I studied ocelots and bobcats, and created the first genetic pedigree for ocelots. As a Florida Panther Biologist, my remote camera monitoring verified the first female panther north of the Caloosahatchee River since 1972 and documented two litters of kittens. I conduct research and monitoring largely through remote camera surveys, and work with private landowners and agencies to protect corridors and conserve habitat for the continued expansion of the Florida population to the north. My interests include spatial ecology, remote cameras, wildlife crossings, and conservation genetics.
