Records of the Eurasian lynx _Lynx lynx_ in the Notecka forest
2014  Przeglad Przyrodniczy (14): 84-88

In Poland the Eurasian lynx _Lynx lynx _occurs mostly in the Carpathian Mountains and large forest tracts of northeastern and eastern parts of the country, while in the western part the species is still scarce. In February 2014 we recorded the lynx presence (direct observation and tracks on a sandy road) in the Notecka forest (northwestern Poland). Both evidences were located 35.5 km apart and we suppose that they may originate from the same individual.
