India is becoming a hunter's paradise for Americans who want to shoot tigers. Government officials here estimate that between 500 and 1,000 tigers could be killed in the country each year without seriously affecting the general tiger population. And they have found that for foreign visitors the word "tiger-shoot" has more glamour than even the Taj Mahal. |
