First camera-trap photos of Asiatic black bears in the Bashagard Region of Southeastern Iran

Camera traps were set in the Bashagard Region, Hormozgan Province, Southeastern Iran to confirm the presence of Asiatic black bears (_Ursus thibetanus gedrosianus_). Besides the bears, the camera traps also recorded Persian leopard (_Panthera pardus saxicolor_), Asiatic wildcat (_Felis silvestris ornata_), Golden jackal (_Canis aureus_), Common fox (_Vulpes vulpes_), Wild sheep (_Ovis _sp.), Stone marten (_Martes foina_), Indian grey mongoose (_Herpestes edwardsii_), Indian crested porcupine (_Hystrix indica_), Mouse-tailed bat (_Rhinopoma_ sp.) as well as a large number of domestic goats and feral donkeys.
