Environment enrichment for cats at the Moscow Zoo

The author of this article shares experience of the environmental enrichment for the White tigers, Jaguars and Pallas' cats. The following methods of the environment enrichment have been used: 1. Environment enrichment of the space: shelves, shelters, constructions for resting and climbing, planting of greenery, construction of streams and pools, etc; 2. Routine husbandry: feeding, designing feeding place, claws' sharpeners, toilets, etc; 3. Providing occupancy of the animals: moves to different enclosures, new scents, strange objects, etc.; interactions with humans; 4. Playing behaviour: use of various objects for games.
