Observations made by the author show that in the manul, or Pallas cat, the duration of oestrus is short; sexual receptivity of the female does not exceed 26 to 42 hours. Gestation lasts 74-75 days. Data on a male newborn kitten: weight 89 g; legth of head and body 152 mm; tail 55 mm; hind foot 29 mm. |
