First evidence of lynx dispersion from the Jura to the Vosges (PremiŠre preuve de dispersion du lynx d'Eurasie (_Lynx lynx_) du Jura vers Les Vosges)
2016  Ciconia (40): 1-6

In the frame of the activities of the observation of wild carnivores (OCS), the first evidence of Eurasien lynx (_Lynx lynx_) dispersion from the Jura to the Vosges is documented and discussed in regard to actual knowledge about the species. The location of the first identification of the animal in the Vosges is situated at 93 km arial distance from the last known location of it in the Jura. This is a characteristical dispersion distance for a male. It is important to connect the suitable habitats of the species on a large scale. This connectivity must be facilitated by providing ways to cross anthropogenic obstacles.
