Patterns of resource use by grazers in a humid coastal savanna in Tanzania

The aim of this study was to determine patterns of habitat use and diet composition of Bohor reedbuck _Redunca redunca_, waterbuck _Kobus ellipsiprymnus_, Lichtenstein's hartebeest _Alcelaphus lichtensteinii_, and wildebeest _Connochaetes taurinus_, and to relate them to spatial and temporal variation in the quality, quantity and structure of the vegetation in the various habitat types. Main predators in the study area, Saadani National Park, Tanzania, are lions and leopards.
