Action plan for Wildcats in Rh”n - solutions for conflicts between nature conservation and landuse in the bioshpere reserve Rh”n (Aktionsplan Wildkatze Rh”n - Konfliktl”sung zwischen Naturschutz und Landnutzung im Biosph„renreservat Rh”n)
2013  Full Book

With the Action plan for the conservation of the European wildcat (_Felis silvestris silvestris_, Schreber, 1775) from Birlenbach et al., which was released 2009, aims for the development of the wildcat population across Germany were formulated. Six main problems were identified: habitat fragmentation, habitat loss, mortality, hybridisation with the domestic cat _Felis catus_ and knowledge gaps in the ecology and the conservation of the wildcat. These could prevent the main goal: the doublication of the wildcat habitat in Germany until the year 2019 and the connectivity of the wildcat populations in Germany and with populations in neighbouring countries.
