In Vale do Itaja¡ have been identified _R_. (_B_.) _microplus_, _R_. _sanguineus_, _A_. _aureolatum_, _A_. _ovale _and _A_. _cajennense _in dogs, and _A. cajennense _and _A. nitens _in horses. _Amblyomma ovale _and _A. aureolatum _into a frog (_Bufo marinus_); _A. dubitatum _a capybara and _A_. _aureolatum _in wild cat (_Leopardus tigrinus_).
