Leopard Survey in Northeast part of Iran
2005  Full Book

Leopard Survey in Northeast of Iran. Northeast part of Iran has been always very attractive for conservation efforts, from the time that cheetah was successfully living in khoshyeilagh wildlife sanctuary, till now, that Tandore National park is the last stronghold of the remained leopard population of Iran. Also Golestan National Park is also located in this region. Leopard as flag species in this mountainous part of Iran is a living indicator of the protected areas situation. This survey isn't a present absence survey, because the presence of the leopard in Golestan and Tandore National Parks are obvious, but it's a more detailed and demographic description of the mentioned areas. As a reference for further studies and actions.
