The Carnivora collected on The American Museum Congo Expedition number 558 specimens, of which 9 represent the Canidae, 35 the Mustelidae, 411 the Viverridae, 13 the Hyaenidae, and 120 the Felidae. The collections consists of 33 forms (29 species and 4 additional subspecies), with 2 genera and 8 forms new to science. |
