Arabuli, A.
On distribution of leopard (_Panthera pardus ciscaucasica_) in the southern Caucasus (Georgia)
2006  Zoologicheskii Zhurnal (85): 910-912

In Georgia, the southeastern leopard (_Panthera pardus ciscaucasica_ Satunin) occurs in the eastern part of the Glavnyi Caucasian Ridge and in the Malyi Caucasian Ridge (Adjaria). In Georgia, in the twentieth century leopard was recorded twelve times. In 1999, leopard was killed by a hunter in Arkhoti. This fact approves that this animal still exists in the Caucasus.
