The mammal fauna of the habur-region and neighbouring areas has so far insufficiently been researched. After the biological material of the British Euphrat-expedition was lost in a shipwreck, only von Oppenheim has collected data on the mammal fauna along the habur in the early 20th century. However these finding were never published systematically. |
