Primer registro de _Panthera onca_ en el Pleistoceno tard¡o de la provincia de Entre R¡os, Argentina

A right jaw of a jaguar (Carnivora: Felidae) was recovered from the Arroyo Feliciano Formation (Late Pleistocene; Lujanian Age) near the locality of San Jos‚ in Department of Col¢n, Province of Entre R¡os in the Argentina and is recognized here as _Panthera onca_. The specimen belong to one of the largest felid widely distributed in the New Word during the Pleistocene. The finding represents the first record report of _Panthera onca _in the province of Entre R¡os in the Argentine Mesopotamia from the Lujanian Age (Late Pleistocene- Early Holocene).
