Spindle-cell sarcoma in the black leopard
1953 Proceedings of the Royal Society of Medicine (46): 37-38
The black leopard, "Satan", was killed on November 14, 1952, and a post-mortem examination was made the following day. The animal was emaciated, having been ill for some time. The post-mortem showed a localized condition involving the right upper and lower jaws. Of the upper jaw, the jugal and the posterior aspects of the maxillary bones were destroyed, the pterygoid region being filled with a large necrotic mass. The middle cranial fossa was not involved. |
