Carnets de brousse - Suivi ‚cologique d'espŠces peu communes en Afrique Centrale et en Afrique de l'Ouest
2008  Full Book

The project "carnets de brousse" relies on a simple method to improve basic knowledge on some less common, large species in little researched areas of Central and West Africa. "Carnets de brousse" takes inspiration from the "Namibia Large Carnivore Atlas" conducted in 1999 by gathering information from tourism operators and the Namibian public on field observations. Main focal species of the project are 5 carnivores (cheetah, spotted hyena, leopard, lion and African wild dog) as well as 4 herbivores (bongo, giraffe, giant forest hog and sitatunga).
