2016 International Journal of Trend in Research and Development (3): 493-495 | |
The forest dwelling community regularly interacted with wildlife day and night. Tiger is very intelligent animal. Livestock practices are very high in dominance in Gujjars. Milk production is only the way to survive with well beings. Their socio-economic status is very poor in terms of education, medication, hygiene, house etc. But rearing of buffaloes is very high frequency. For domestic purpose some family have horse as they used for local transportation. Goats are also found somewhere. They are directly linked to core area of park in terms of fuel wood, water and grazing. Tigers are continuously moving around the Deras and community. Their cattle are easy prey for tiger. By the scat analysis, a scientific evidence of conflict through the undigested remains of prey species was collected. Total 97 scats were collected to analysis regarding food and feeding behavior of tiger. Finding of scats analysis were correlated to conflict and movement. |
