Bangladesh Sundarbans Tiger Human Conflict Report - January-June 2014

From January to June 2014, a total of 33 Tiger Human Conflict (THC) incident were recorded where 70% was livestock incidents, 18% was human incident and 12% was tiger incident. The highest, 52% of THC incident was recorded from Chandpai range and only 12% was recorded from in both of Khulna and Satkhira range. 82% of THC incident occurred inside the forest. All of the livestock and human incident were happened inside the forest and for tiger incident, 25% was forest incident and 75% was village incident. THC incidents were highest (45.5%) recorded in June where only 3% of THC incident was recorded in both of March and May.
