Evidence of rusty-spotted cat in Shivalik Forest Division, Uttar Pradesh, India

The rusty-spotted cat, _Prionailurus rubiginosus_ is considered to be the world's smallest species of wild cat. We report here the first photographic evidence of the rusty-spotted cat from the Shivalik Bhabar region of Shivalik Forest Division in Uttar Pradesh, India. This evidence adds another record to the rusty-spotted cat distribution in the Western Terai Arc Landscape.
