This study was undertaken to understand the change in behavior and ecology of lion in two different habitats namely - GWLS and Coastal forest of Rajula. The objectives of the study were to identify various satellitic lion populations around Gir PA, to study change in lion behavior with reference to habitat, to evaluate human-lion interaction in the study area and to popose a future conservation strategy for lion population outside of GPA. |
