Studies were conducted on diversity and status of vertebrate fauna in Prashar area in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh. These studies were made in Prashar lake, surrounding meadow and forests during different seasons of the years 2010 to 2014. Some attempts were also made to find out the residential status and relative abundance of different bird species. Conservation measures for protecting the threatened vertebrate fauna of Prashar area have also been proposed in the present investigations. |
