The IUCN labels the margay,_ Leopardus wiedii_, Near Threatened. This species has been one of the least studied small wild cat in the neotropics, additional long term studies need to be done to effectively evaluate their status. In this study we collected trail camera data on margay in a protected area. Our results showed a healthy population of margay and consistent hunting displays. |
