The relationship between minimum air temperature and daily distances moves by Kalahari leopards
1994  South African Journal of Wildlife Research (24): 18-20

Minimum air temperature is used as an index to study the effect of climate on the daily distances moved by male leopards of equal hunger status in the southern Kalahari. An inverse linear relationship existed between minimum air temperatures and daily distances moved. The implications of these results on studies of the activity patterns (movements) of these leopards and possible avenues for future research are discussed.
