Gundersen, S.K.; Jackson, R.
Snow leopard in Nepal
1999  Pamphlet

The snow leopard (Uncia uncia) is a charismatic flagship species, promoting mountain biodiversity conservation. This beautiful, but endangered cat, is a striking symbol of the world's highest places. It is also an environmental ambassador, for encouraging the establishment of trans-boundary national parks or protected areas (Pas), and as an indicator of a healthy mountain ecosystem.
