High in Turkey's Cudi Mountains could lie a secret which will stun scientists: the return from the dead of a lost species. Local hunters say they have seen Caspian tigers along the border with Iraq. Yet the species was supposed to have become extinct when the last one was shot in 1970. An expedition is to be launched next year to try find the tigers the world forgot. |
