The primary aim of this experience was to examine hunting behaviours and to relate ontogenetic changes in behaviors to the changing instigational and maturational circumstances an forces in which operating in and around this captive cheetah, in contrast to general belives that cheetah without maternal teaching is a poor hunter and competator.
