When Harley Shaw went to college, he wrote a paper in his freshman English class on Ben Lilly, a legendary hunter who died in 1936. Lilly started in Alabamacand worked his way west slaughtering bears, coyotes, wolves and lions. Once he guided for Theodore Roosevelt. He married twice, but these ventures did not work out. His first wife went insane; his second wife, he abandoned. |
