Preliminary results of the far eastern leopard ecology project: Implications for conservation and management
  Full Book

It has been difficult to convince the international conservation community of the need for leopard conservation, and even more difficult to convince them of the need for leopard research. Despite such problems, we have continued our work, because we believe the results of this research will provide key information in formulating management plans for the Far Eastern leopard. The seven questions posed in this report all require intensive research for adequate, justifiable answers, and these answers are all relevant when assessing options for leopard conservation. We hope that these results, and others that will develop out of Far Eastern Leopard Ecology Project, will be of assistance to all people involved in conservation of this magnificent wild cat.
